BP Alternative Energy is BP’s renewables business. Their visual identity refresh was propelled by the idea of harnessing nature to create clean energy.

The device used for conveying the brand idea – Nature into Energy – is the 'AE' monogram. Its primary function is to act as a super graphic holding both graphic texture and photography.

The monogram can be scaled up and cropped to create dynamic designs, and by using the two letters as photographic windows, they can capture moving image on digital applications.

This work was undertaken in a freelance capacity working for Landor & Fitch.
