Nottingham Trent University needed a rebrand to shake off their former polytechnic roots and project a Red-Brick maturity, more befitting of their statue.

The new logotype is a classic yet modern serif font, simply justified to create a sophisticated and elegant brand mark. The shield holding the acronym (which is regularly used in the university) adds a ping of colour and a wink of personality. Detached from the logotype, it's used as a short form for the brand and works especially well on campus stationery and merchandise.
